Finalize your Payroll before proceeding to the payment step

Navigate to the Pay Runs page under the Payroll app
Add custom additions/deductions as applicable to the employees. You can also check the automated additions/Loss of Pay due to unpaid leaves in this dialog box
Once the adjustments are final. Click on the Finalize Payroll button
You can see the stats around payments by hovering over the i button

Make sure you have approved all the Reimbursements and Contractor Invoices from the "My Approvals" tab before proceeding to payments

Go to "Entity Settings"
Click on the "Payable Days" tab
Click on the Edit Button
Configure the payable days as desired

Leave Policies: How to create leave policies and manage assignees?

💡 Updating your Organisation’s leave policies may result in corresponding affected employees’ leave requests (Both approved and unapproved) getting cancelled. They would have to request for those leaves again once the policy has been updated

Navigate to the “Policies” section under “Leaves” and click on the “Leave Types” tab.
Click on "Create Leave Type" and fill out the Leave type details
Navigate to the "Leave Policies" Tab
Click on “Add leave policy” to create a new policy for the leave type you have selected. The leave policies may cater to different segments of your employees. Be it based on Job title, Work locations, Teams, etc. Let us now see how it works by creating and assigning a leave policy to the tech team in our organisation

Request Leave: How to apply and track my leave requests?

Navigate to the “My Leaves” tab on the left panel and select the “Leave Requests” tab as shown
To submit a new leave request, click on the “Create Request” button
Click on the “Leave Type” dropdown, you’ll see all the leave types and the respective remaining balances according to your leave policy. Select the type of leave for which you wish to apply for.
Pick the start and end dates. Make sure to select Full Day/First or Second Half for both
Verify the number of leaves and add a supporting document (Optional). Finally mention the reason for the leave and click on the “Request Leave” Button to submit the request
You can track the requests on the same page. The approval status would turn to either “Approved”, “Rejected” or “Cancelled” once an action is taken on the Request by the approver. You can track the past leaves and cancelled/rejected leaves in the corresponding tabs acco

Employment Details: How to add Employment Details for my Users after they have been invited?

Adding employment data is mandatory if you wish to give access to all the apps you have subscribed to on Craze to your employees. You can do so by following this guide is you missed adding it while inviting them onto the organisation.

Select the user for whom you wish to add employment data

Fill in all the required fields: Employment type, Legal Entity, Annual comp, etc

Documents: How to create and use a Document Template

Navigate to the "Documents" page under "Core"

Go to the "Templates" tab as shown

Click on the "Create New Template" button

Give the Template a Name and start creating the template. Here's one for a boilerplate "Offer Letter" for your Employees

Add an instruction that would be prompted to the document signer when this template is used to create the document

Now, there are two kinds of Variables.

Fixed: they are pulled from the Employment Details of the recipient.
Custom: Ad hoc variables you can create and set the values of.

Create a custom variable on the document by entering {{VARIABLE_NAME}} on the template to allow any document that's created using this template to inherit it.

Once you're done editing the template, you can preview it by clicking on the "Preview" button as shown
