Attendance Policy: How to configure an attendance policy on Craze

Navigate to the "Policies" tab in the "Attendance" section under Admin Options
Navigate to the "Policies" tab under "Attendance"

Click on the "Create New Policy" button on the top right
Click on the "Create New Policy" button

Choose a name for your attendance policy and give it a description. Now, you're good to choose the working hours- Employees can only Clock in/Clock out only during the working hours. So if you wish to allow Overtime, it's recommended to have working hours longer than the office hours of your organisation.

Now you can configure the other parameters around attendance as shown.
Allowing attendance without timesheets would enable your employees to directly choose their attendance status for the day (Present/Half day/Absent) instead of computing them from the amount of hours worked
Enabling Clock-in on Holidays/Weekends will allow your employees to work overtime if you enable overtime in your policy)


You can select the overtime multiplier for amount of time worked over the required hours for a full day. Enable "Overtime round off" if you wish to round off the accumulated overtime.
Overtime Configurations

Now, you can configure if you wish to capture the location from where the employee clocks-in. Furthermore, you can set up a Geo-fence around a location of your choice beyond which the policy holder would not be allowed to Clock-in/Clock-out. Follow the below steps to do so.
Click on Add Location
Click on "Reset" to navigate to your current location. Alternatively, you can search for a location in the search bar and hit the "Search" button
Click on "Reset" to navigate to your current location
Click on this icon to start drawing a Geofence
Click and drag on the map to create the Geofence
Fianlly give the location a name and hit "Save"

Finally, click on the "Add Policy" button to create the Attendance Policy"


Congratulations, you can now assign this Attendance policy to anyone you invite onto Craze.
