Documents: How to create and use a Document Template
Navigate to the "Documents" page under "Core"
Go to the "Templates" tab as shown
Click on the "Create New Template" button
Give the Template a Name and start creating the template. Here's one for a boilerplate "Offer Letter" for your Employees
Add an instruction that would be prompted to the document signer when this template is used to create the document
Now, there are two kinds of Variables.
Fixed: they are pulled from the Employment Details of the recipient.
Custom: Ad hoc variables you can create and set the values of.
Create a custom variable on the document by entering {{VARIABLE_NAME}} on the template to allow any document that's created using this template to inherit it.
Once you're done editing the template, you can preview it by clicking on the "Preview" button as shown
Finally, click on the "Submit" button to save the Template
