Documents: How to generate and get a Document signed (Ex. Offer Letter)?
Navigate to “Documents” under the Core
Click on “Create New Document”
Select “Yes” if you want to use an Existing Template, else select “No” and start creating the document on the editor.
Select the template you wish to use (If applicable).
Fill in all the required details
Recipient: To whom the document would be sent to
Show this document when the user logs in: If it should show up in the login flow
Document Name
Instructions on where to sign, etc
Add Approvers
You can add as many approvers as you wish. If you’d like to have any of the approvers countersign the document, you can check the following option for the respective approver
Now, there are two kinds of Variables.
Fixed Variables: they are pulled from the Employment Details of the recipient.
Custom Variables: Ad hoc variables you can create and set the values of.
Create a custom variable on the document by entering {{VARIABLE_NAME}} on the document and selecting its value on the right hand side.
Note: using the {{EMPLOYEE_SALARY_BREAKDOWN}} variable automatically adds the salary breakdown table of the respective employee in the document
After you have edited the document accordingly, click on the submit button to send it to the recipient
You can now track the Document’s status on the dashboard
