Invite Users: How to Invite an Employee (or Contractor) onto Craze?

Navigate to the “People” Tab




Click "Add new person”



Fill out the basic details of the employee you want to onboard


Click on the “Continue” button


Fill out the Employment Details (Select “Contractor” Under “Employment Type” if they’re not on regular Payroll, but are paid on contractual basis. You would also select the respective TDS for the contractor in the next step). If they are neither (ex. a director or investor who isn't either an employee or a contractor. you can select Neither)



Fill out their employment details if they are a salaried employee

Click on the "Continue" button



Select one of the salary structures available in your organisation



Fill out the relevant Past Payroll Data to help us account for the TDS deducted outside of Craze



opt-in for PF and/or ESIC for the employee if applicable



Select a Leave Policy to be assigned to the employee (Applicable if you’re using the Leaves app as well)


Select the effective date from which the Leave Policy would be applicable to the respective employee


Select the policy for all the Leave Types applicable to the employee. (Leave blank if a particular leave type isn't to be granted)


Select the "Continue" Button

Select the Attendance Policy (Applicable only if you are using the Attendnace app and if you want to mandate attendance for this employee)



Select the date range for which the attendance policy must be backfilled

Hit the continue button

Congratulations, You’ve successfully invited the user. They would now have received an onboarding link to fill in the remaining personal details.
