Salary Structures and Flexi Benefits: How to configure them on my Organisation?

Navigate to the “Salary Structures” subsection under “Payroll”



You can have multiple salary structures in your organisation and assign specific structures to employees of your choice. To get started, click on the “Create salary structure” button


Configure the mandatory components by deciding the percentages of every component that contributes to the gross pay



Click “Add Custom Component” to configure a new component on your salary structure


Select whether the component is Taxable, Non Taxable or Flexi (Non taxable upon submission of proofs) as well as if you wish to define it by “%” or a fixed amount


Save the custom component


Repeat this for every custom component you wish to add on to the salary structure and finally save the Salary structure.
Now, you can see all the available salary structures in your organisation and edit any of them as you wish


Now, when you’re inviting a user onto the platform, you can choose the salary structure you wish to assign to the person


If you wish to assign the newly created salary structure to an existing employee, you can navigate to the “Employees” subsection under Payroll and select the employee you wish to assign the Salary structure to. Here, under the “Salary Structure” tab, you’ll be able to edit and reassign the existing salary structures on the org to this person.
