Salary Structures: How to create a Salary Structure
On Craze, you can create, assign and manage multiple Salary Structures suited for various kinds of employees in your Organization. In this article, we'll be seeing How a typical salary structure (say, for salespeople) can be created
Navigate to the Payroll Tab and Select "Salary Structures"
On the top right hand corner, click on the "Create Salary Structure" Button
Give the Salary Structure a Name.
Fill in the percentages of all the Mandatory components
Now, click on the "Add custom component" button to add another component to the salary structure apart from the existing ones.
Give the Custom Component a Name and select its way of Taxability.
Taxable: This component is taxable in all cases
Flexi: This component is non taxable under the submission of proofs regarding the expenses made
Non-Taxable: This component is non-taxable in all cases
Select the type and amount of the salary component.
Repeat steps 5 through 7 to add as many components into the salary structure as you wish. Remember, The sum of all the percentages including mandatory components should add up to 100.
Finally, click on the "Save" button.
Your Salary structure is now live in your organisation. You can assign it to existing (by navigating to their Payroll details tab) as well as new employees during their onboarding.
